Gilbert is a spirit-filled man commissioned to spread the message of Jesus Christ to all people; because of this privilege, Pastor Gilbert approaches all aspects of ministry with passion, urgency, and sincerity.

Pastor Gilbert’s ministerial grooming began under the guide of his parents’ Evangelist Sandra Gilbert and Elder Perry Gilbert. At the age of six, Pastor Gilbert delivered his first public sermon. By the time Pastor Gilbert became a teenager, he had conducted church revivals and collaborated with various adolescent groups throughout the inner city to promote hope and positive self-awareness.

In 2018, responding to the divine prompting of God, he established Living Epistles Community Church in Milwaukee, WI, which seeks not only to bring people into the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ but also pursue opportunites to aid the overall well-being of humankind.
